Sandy, Registered Dental Hygienist

team_sandySandy graduated from Minnesota State University – Mankato in 1973. Her favorite aspect of dentistry, after 43 years in practice, has always been the establishing of close one-to-one relationships with her patients. Her ability to demonstrate true caring and establish unconditional trust, has for some families spanned three generations. Sandy believes quality preventative dental hygiene services should always be delivered with comfort and compassion.

She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist’s Association, as well as a founding member of the local branch where she has held positions of trustee and president.

Lifelong learning, so important in health care, motivates Sandy to attend university courses, local seminars, state and national conventions to remain current in new research and technology. In 2006 Governor Jim Doyle appointed Sandy to a 4-year term on the Dentistry Examining Board, the state regulatory board for hygienists and dentists.

Sandy’s hobbies include creating stain glass art, scrap-booking, and biking. Leisure time is spent with her friends and family: husband Kim, son Jared, daughter Rachel, son-in-law Kyle, and especially her granddaughters Allie and Jordan.
